Flavious Michael Gilliland was born on 14 November 1909 at Illinois.2,1 He was the son of Flavious W. Gilliland and Mary N. Frye.1 Flavious Michael Gilliland appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois in the household of his parents, Flavious W. Gilliland and Mary N. Frye.1 Flavious Michael Gilliland appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois in the household of his parents, Flavious W. Gilliland and Mary N. Frye.3 According to the Cook County Clerk's Office Online Genealogy Website, Flavins M. Gilliland married Maxine C. Glaser on August 9, 1943. However, I found a Frank M. Gilliland and wife Maxine on the 1930 Federal Census for Chicago. Their ages were 20 and 19 and they were married just the year before in 1929. Frank was listed as a roofer. I also found the death registration of Patricia Gilliland, born and died in December 1930 to a Frank and Maxine Gilliland in Chicago.4

Flavious Michael Gilliland married Maxine C. Glaser on 9 August 1943 at Cook County, Illinois.5 I have not ordered the marriage record but it is available for $15.00. There's always the possibility that Flavious and Maxine were married and divorced and married again.

Flavious Michael Gilliland died on 4 March 1991 at Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, at age 81.2

The following obituary appeared 7 March 1991 in the Chicago Sun-Times:

Deceased Name: Michael Gilliland
Michael Gilliland, 81, a former Chicago policeman who worked part time for the Cook County sheriff's office and the Village of Bridgeview, died of cancer Monday at his Bridgeview home.
