Privett.1 On 12 September 1918, Thomas Jefferson registered for the draft for WWI. He was living in Seattle, King County, Washington, at the time.2 On November 30, 1918, Thomas applied for a Seaman's Certificate of American Citizenship stating he was an apprentice mariner employed since November 4th and he expected to ship as an apprentice mariner aboard the S. S.
