Nancy J. Clinton, 66, died Tuesday morning at her Albany home.

Nancy was born in Jane, Mo., to parents Alva Ernest and Pearl Dorothy (Seybert) Gilliland.

She married Charles Earnest Clinton. He died in November 1965.

Nancy later married Robert Tucker. They later divorced.

She enjoyed reading and playing games, especially bingo, and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, and the Eagles, Moose and Elks lodges.

Survivors include her sons, Terry Clinton of Albany and Dave Clinton of Sutherlin; daughters Jayne Nurss of Riddle and Lora Sue Sorensen of Myrtle Creek; brother Floyd "Doc" Gilliland of Sutherlin; sisters Theata Foshaug of Myrtle Creek, Pinky Conklin of Stayton, and Brenda Horn and Dolores Beavers, both of Roseburg; nine grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Nancy was preceded in death by brother Ernie Gilliland.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Eagles Lodge, State and Second Streets in Sutherlin.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Eagles, either directly or in care of AAsum Funeral Home or Wilson's Chapel of the Roses.6
