Sept. 3, 1936 - March 22, 2018 OKLAHOMA CITY Daymon Dale Gililland, 81, died on March 22, 2018, in Oklahoma City. Born on Sept. 3, 1936, to Herman Harvey Gililland & Mary Ellen Guffee in Carnegie, OK, he proudly served in the U.S. Army, Special Forces, both in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. After being discharged, he went to Oklahoma University and received a BA degree in land management. He is survived by his wife, Mita; his children, Donna, Douglas, Denise, Rebecca, and Daymon, Jr; his brother, Max; sisters, Joyce, Jean & her husband James, and Debbie & her husband David; grandchildren, cousins, nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Danny. He will be missed. His wife, Mita, thanks all of the medical staff at the VA Medical Center who took good care of him until he died. A Memorial Service will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Midwest City on April 4, 2018, at 11 a.m.1
