     William T. Gilliland was born on 11 December 1882 at Arkansas.2,1 He was the son of Andrew Jackson "Jack" Gilliland and Eveline Roup.1 William T. Gilliland appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Flint township, Cherokee Nation, Indian Territory in the household of his parents, Andrew Jackson "Jack" Gilliland and Eveline Roup.1 William T. Gilliland married Myrtle B. Reed circa 1909.3 William T. Gilliland and Myrtle B. Reed appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Campbell township, Sequoyah County, Oklahoma, enumerated 20 April 1910. Their daughter Beverly R. was listed as living with them.3 William T. Gilliland and Myrtle B. Reed appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Muskogee, Muskogee County, Oklahoma, enumerated 12 January 1920. Their children Jennie, Elaine, Jack Reed, Christine and W. T. were listed as living with them.4 William T. Gilliland and Myrtle B. Reed appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma, enumerated 8 April 1930.
