Their son Robert McClinton was listed as living with them.4 Also living with them was 50 year old Robert McClinton, born in Ireland, who their son was named after. James Gilleland and Nancy Morrison appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Ohio township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, enumerated 15 June 1860.      David Gilleland was born circa 1781 at Ireland.2 He was the son of David Gilleland.1 David Gilleland appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Allegheny City, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, enumerated 6 August 1850, living with his daughter and son-in-law, Selina and Samuel Snowden.2 He appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Wilkins township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, enumerated 15 July 1860. His daughter Lavinia A. was listed as living with him, as were his grandchildren Mary, Elizabeth, John, Ellen, Selina, and Charles Snowden.3 David Gilleland died circa 1863 at Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.1

On December 26, 1864, David's daughter Lavinia, who was the administratrix of his estate, filed an account showing a balance of $3717.55 in his estate. On January 5, 1865, there was an exception filed to the account and the Court appointed an auditor. On March 18, 1865, the auditor filed his report showing the accounts to be distributed.4
