Mr. Ronald Leo Gilliland 79, of Goldston passed away Saturday, (11-09-2013) at his home.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, (11-12-2013) at 2 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church where he was a member with Rev. Mike Garner and Jimmy Jones officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mr. Gilliland was born in Danville,VA and was an Army Veteran. He worked as a poultry farmer for over 50 years until he retired.

Surviving is his wife of 57 years, Augusta Hancock Gilliland of the home; daughter, Ginger Azar of California; sons, Allen Gilliland, Randy Gilliland, both of Goldston; mother, Alice G. Hammer; brothers, Lionel Gilliland, J.B. Gilliland; sister, Vivian Petty; and four grandchildren.4
